Texas Capitol
If it's in Texas, it must be bigger and better. That is the motto that architects followed with the Capitol Building in Austin. At one time, it was the tallest capitol building in the nation. This beautiful building shows off many of the natural resources that are prevalent of Texas, such as limestone and landscapes.
The Domain
Situated in a beautiful open park-like setting, The Domain features 100 upscale and mainstream retail stores and restaurants. A sampling of retailers includes Nordstrom, Macy’s, Dillard’s, Zara, Lululemon, Nike, Apple, Yeti. Restaurant favorites include Gloria’s Mexican cuisine (where we had our first date!), Sweet Paris Crepes, Mia Tapas, Grimaldi’s Pizza, North Italia, and many more.

Spacious, casual stop for pit-smoked meats & housemade sides from famous 4th-generation pitmasters.
Congress Avenue
Street lined with lots of great restaurants and boutiques. Stop by Allen Boots, Jo Jo's Coffee (Next to the famous "I love you so much" mural).
Mount Bonnell
We went here for one of our first dates, the view is breathless! It is a beautiful Austin park looming almost 800 feet over Austin.
The University of Texas at Austin
Founded in 1883, this university is steeped in history.
