Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places with you! Asheville has the most breweries per capita in the country, so we included one that does a great tour (it has a slide!) and good options for those who are not as familiar with craft beers! Asheville is also the nation's reigning champ in "hippie culture" so there are farmers' markets, art, and live music everywhere you wander! It also led the charge in farm-to-table food and the #eatlocal movement. For history buffs, Asheville is also home to America's largest private house, on grounds over 3x larger than the Palace of Versailles!

New Belgium Brewing Company

21 Craven Street, Asheville, NC 28806
, (828) 333-6900

If you want to learn about craft beer, this is the spot. If you don't like craft beer, this is the spot to change your mind!

The Biltmore Estate

1 Lodge Street, Asheville, NC 28803
, (800) 411-3812

You can tour the gilded home, walk any of the 22 nature trails on the estate, check out the conservatory, or sip and stroll through the vineyards!

The North Carolina Arboretum

100 Frederick Law Olmsted Way, Asheville, NC 28806
, (828) 665-2492

The NC Arboretum is HUGE. It has exhibits, gardens, and trails, and even the drive in feels magical.

Cúrate

13 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

The most authentic Spanish tapas we've found outside of Spain! They also have a spin-off restaurant that just opened called Bodega that has an incredible tasting menu (but is not for the faint of heart)!

Blue Ridge Parkway

3884 Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, NC 28803

Pick any spot on the Blue Ridge Parkway for stunning views of the mountains as the leaves change!
