FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:30-3:45pm to be seated in time for the start of the ceremony at 4:00pm. The ceremony will take place outdoors on the rooftop. If inclement weather, it will be moved indoors.

Question

What is the expected timeline for the day?

Answer

4:00pm Ceremony | 4:30pm Cocktail Hour | 5:30pm Transition to Reception | 6:15pm Dinner | 8:00pm Dancing Begins! | 10:50pm Last Call | 11:00pm Exit

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Time to get fancy! This is a semi-formal affair. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are dark suits, cocktail dresses, and dressy jumpsuits. As the night progresses, if that tie is too tight or those heels are too high, feel free to let loose! No jeans or casual wear, please. Note: If this fall weather sticks around, we are planning to have an outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour on the rooftop. Dinner & dancing will be indoors. Please dress accordingly.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary parking is available behind the venue in city parking lots of E. Lane Street as well as on surrounding streets. Free overnight parking is available in the Sun Prairie city lots behind the building. Click here for a parking map: https://drive.google.com/file/d/16Ce-voN9mopxNblli39k3MHx4TL7AIny/view?usp=sharing

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There are no shuttles arranged. Please use Uber, Lyft or call a cab!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will be hosting beer, wine, rail cocktails and soda during cocktail hour through dinner (approx. 4:30-7:30pm). Once the party starts, it will be a cash bar. Per the venue's rules, NO shots or neat drinks will be served at the bar. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation was addressed to you and a guest, you are welcome to bring a date! If not, please refrain. We want to celebrate with those we know and love!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adults-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the 'Travel & Accommodations' tab above. We have blocks of rooms reserved at three nearby hotels for our guests.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is already the best gift, but if you're in the mood to sprinkle some extra joy, visit the 'Registry' tab above. We've set up a honeymoon fund on Zola, and we've also got wish lists on Amazon and Target.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP online by October 1, 2024.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP online, please list any dietary restrictions for you and your guest and we will be happy to accommodate as best we can!
