📱➡️🍻 In the midst of the quiet chaos that Covid brought, our love story started with a hopeful swipe right. After getting to know each other online, we agreed to meet in person for our first date. We enjoyed beers at the Thirsty Goat warmed by the glow of a bonfire. Through our conversations, we discovered our shared love for tacos, travel, and pop-punk tunes. We also stumbled upon a shared mutual connection (*cough* Shaun), who seemed to weave his way into our lives even before we officially met. That first date marked the beginning of a series of memorable adventures as we navigated dating during a pandemic. We took walks by the lake, ordered too-spicy Thai takeout, and explored several breweries (which we still love to do!).

As planned, we ventured to Olbrich Park for the solstice bonfire and enjoyed the warmth and festivities. As the night grew colder, Michael insisted we take a walk along the lake before heading home. Away from the crowd, with a view of Lake Monona, Michael dropped to one knee and asked Corinn to be his forever. Through tears of joy, Corinn said, "yes!" And just when Corinn thought the surprises couldn't get any sweeter, a bottle of Veuve Clicquot awaited at home, ready to toast to the moment. We sipped bubbly and called our families to share the exciting news. After the whirlwind of Christmas had passed, we delighted in sharing our engagement with our friends.
