Flight
This airport is the main international airport in Detroit. It is located just 20 minutes from Downtown Detroit. Car rentals are available from DTW. Detroit is not public transportation friendly, we recommend renting a car or relying on Uber/Lyft during your stay in Detroit.
Travel Note
If you are unfamiliar with Detroit neighborhoods or the surrounding area, please reach out to us before booking your rental. We recommend the Detroit neighborhoods of Corktown, Downtown, Capital Park, Woodbridge and Midtown. Outside of Detroit proper we recommend the cities of Ferndale, Royal Oak and Grosse Pointe Park.
Travel Note
There are many boutique and national brand hotels in Detroit and the surrounding area. The couple is not booking a block of rooms at a hotel. The After Party will most likely take place in Corktown or the Downtown area of Detroit, if that helps with finding a hotel location to stay at. Please reach out for recommendations or questions about an area, if you are unfamiliar.
