Gile Mountain

A fun and easy day hike in Norwich with gorgeous views from the fire tower. Perfect during the fall foliage season!

Mount Ascutney State Park Campground

A moderate (6 hour) hike on one of our favorite mountains. Or you can drive to the top and take in the panoramic views for miles from the fire tower. If you're not a hiker, take a look at the gorgeous view of the mountain heading South on Route 12A in Plainfield.

Riverview Farm

Apple picking, berry picking, cut your own flowers, corn maze, and pumpkins.

Mac's Maple

Local farm, McNamara Dairy, serving maple flavored snacks and delicious soft serve ice cream. Check their website for availability.

DAN AND WHIT'S

The famous Dan and Whit's general store, a Norwich staple for over 50 years. If they don't have it, you don't need it! Also serving chocolate, vanilla, and twist soft serve ice cream at the window.
