Our story begins in late summer 2011 where we met through the best man, Peta, at Salt hill in Hanover. Cori thought Michael was very cute and immediately loved his laugh, kindness, sense of humor, and gorgeous blue eyes while Michael thought Cori was pretty (from the front and the back) and liked that she was kind and smart even after having a bit too much to drink. Fast forward to November 26, when an awkward moment at a party the night before prompted us to have a conversation about dating. Our first year anniversary was spent traveling on a week-long Norwegian cruise where we went scuba diving in Honduras, ziplining and cave river tubing in Belize, and visited Mayan ruins in Mexico. We both passed each other's travel test and were surprised that neither got sick of the other (well, Cori did get seasick, but Michael took care of her). Being long distance for the first 2 1/2 years of the relationship was difficult while Cori lived in Lebanon and Michael in Lee, but made for a stronger bond from the limited, yet quality time spent together. On the winter weekends, Michael and Cori's friend, Erin, taught her how to ski at Whaleback in Enfield. Since then, we've enjoyed taking to the slopes together...even with the falls we both experience from time to time. Michael decided to move back home to Norwich in 2014 to be closer to Cori and his family. Although his intention was to move back into his childhood home, he never left Cori's house in Lebanon, and we've been living together ever since. Throughout the years, we've also enjoyed hiking local mountains and taking vacations to New Orleans, San Francisco, and Orlando. In 2016, after a 1 1/2 year search, we bought our first house together in Plainfield, NH where we spend most of our time. Michael proposed on the chairlift at Whaleback on March 10, 2018, during a gorgeous day with fantastic conditions; with our ski helmets preventing us from an excited engagement kiss.
