They met at work when Corey came to interview for management. Vanessa was happy the owners hired her some eye candy. Weeks went by and he would talk to her assistant but never to her. Of course, Vanessa had to address that right away and went to his desk and said... "Hey, why don't you ever talk to me?!?!?" With a big smile he said "Good morning." Satisfied with his response she returned to her desk. Since that eye to eye conversation he made it a point of saying good morning and eventually he started sending her funny GIFs...one specifically the "Unicorn Pooping Rainbow Ice Cream on a Cone" Their little joke was "you had me at unicorn poop." (If you don't know this GIF, Corey will be happy to show you) Before Christmas, Corey went on a Christmas Charity Toy Run with the motorcycle group, got home and called to ask Vanessa if she would like to grab pizza at the Taste of Buffalo. Vanessa was very hesitant to accept the pizza invitation because they were coworkers. While her mother held the ladder and Vanessa hung Christmas lights on the house; her mother convinced her to live a little and GO! They had Philly cheesesteaks instead of pizza at Taste of Buffalo, talked and laughed all night long. The adventures together began quickly. From cheesesteaks, to motorcycle trips, to meeting family in Jersey, Charleston and Lake Erie/Buffalo. To weekend waterfall hunting, hiking, card games, football games, tubing, cliff jumping and much much more. The rest was history.
