Please do not invite any additional guests if you have not already been given the thumbs up to do so. We have limited seating and have already accounted for plus ones for certain guests in our original invite list. Once we receive our RSVP's and know how many people are actually planning to attend, we may be able to accommodate additional guests at that time. But please check with us first before inviting anyone. It is an additional $75 per person over and above the allotted amount of people in our wedding package. So in an effort to keep costs down we are trying to stay as close to the number of "allowed" guests as possible. We appreciate your understanding and consideration on this matter.
While Corey and I have decided to stay at the STRAT, it is not a "designated" hotel for all of our guests, in the event our guests would like to stay somewhere closer to the strip. We realize this is Vegas so people are not only coming for the wedding but they are also coming to enjoy the festivities that the city has to offer. That being said, there are a lot of hotels to choose from, some better situated to walking the strip and being in the center of where all the action is. So we are leaving it completely up to our guests to decide where they would like to stay. We have however blocked a group of rooms (15 of them) IF you all would like to stay at the STRAT. Prices are good and location isn't bad if you have transportation or don't mind a little walking (a lot of walking lol). There will be a booking code you can use in the travel section should you decide to book at the STRAT.
As part of the wedding package, there will be a shuttle provided for up to 24 passengers to and from the strip on the day of the wedding. Regardless of which hotel you are staying in, as long as it is on the strip (main strip or Fremont), the shuttle can and will pick you up and return you to your hotel (up to 24 passengers).
The only "scheduled" activity besides the wedding is a welcome dinner at the MainStreet Casino/Buffet down on Fremont. I would like to get everyone together that Friday night to do a meet and greet, and simply just to welcome everyone and thank everyone for their attendance. Afterwards, the plan is just to hangout on Fremont, bar hopping and people watching lol. Saturday will just be a chill day. I'm planning to hit up a spa or lounge at a pool (weather permitting) and just have some bonding time with the bridesmaids. I figured its Vegas, so people will have their own plans and ideas of things they'd like to do. So I didn't want to schedule a bunch of things dominating people's time. Then Sunday is the big day :-)
Soooooooo, as you guys know Corey is active duty military so plans can always change. With that being said, please make your travel arrangements sparingly. Meaning, be sure to purchase travel protection plans or book refundable/changeable tickets for flights/hotel etc. We are not anticipating any deployments or TDY's between now and the time of the wedding, but again, military life is not always predictable so its better to be safe than sorry. Also, COVID. While we are thrilled to see things are starting to get back to normal, we have no way of knowing what's to come later down the line. So please just keep this info in the forefront of your mind in the event something comes up and we have to push our dates out (again, we are NOT expecting to have to do so).
