Travel Note

Traveling to Mexico

A couple tips for traveling to Mexico: - Make sure to check that your passports are valid for six months after the travel date (May 7th, 2027). - If you are staying at Playa Viva or MUSA, you likely won't need much cash. We recommend getting some pesos at the ATM in the airport when you land for things like taxi tips or local shopping you might do. USD$10 is about MX$184. - Make sure to bring sunscreen and bug repellent. - You do not need a visa for traveling to Mexico if you have a U.S. passport. - Be careful not to drink water or brush your teeth with water from the tap. Playa Viva provides drinking water that is regular refilled in the rooms and around the hotel.
