FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs have closed. We’re putting the final touches on our plans and can’t wait to gather together in Puerto Rico.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Please refer to the Schedule Tab on the website with more information on other events.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at the historical gem of Casa de España in Old San Juan. We’ll be celebrating on the first floor, where the ceremony and reception will be set in the romantic open-air interior courtyard, surrounded by Spanish-style architecture and timeless charm. Cocktail hour will be in the elegant, air-conditioned library, offering a cozy space to mingle and cool off. Guests are welcome to wander and enjoy the indoors and out. Just know that the heart of the celebration will be under the stars in the courtyard!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

February in Puerto Rico is typically part of the dry season, so you can expect warm, beautiful weather—usually in the mid-70s to low 80s at the time of the wedding. That said, it is an island, so we never fully rule out a surprise sprinkle! However, we will monitor closer to the date and plan accordingly! :)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal: Suits or tuxedos for men, ankle length or floor-length dresses, cocktail dresses or a dressy pantsuit for women. The ceremony + reception will be in the interior courtyard — light/breathable fabrics encouraged. Cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor in the library/interior courtyard.

Question

Is the parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Please note there is no on-site parking at Casa de España due to its historic Old San Juan location. We recommend using Uber/taxi for the easiest and most convenient arrival. For guests with rental cars, nearby parking garages include: Multipiso Covadonga – about a 5 minute walk Doña Fela Parking Garage – about a 9 minute walk from the venue

Question

What time should I arrive for your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you not arrive earlier than 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Arriving at least 15 minutes early to find a seat is suggested

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Drinks are on us! We'll have an open bar with a variety of options with a few other surprises under our sleeves for you to enjoy! ;)
