Flight
Getting to Terre di Nano Nearest airports: Florence (FLR) – about 2 hours by car Rome Fiumicino (FCO) – about 2.5 hours by car Both are great options depending on your flight preferences. Florence is smaller and closer; Rome offers more international routes.
Rental Car
Rental cars: We recommend renting a car directly from the airport — it’s the easiest way to explore the Tuscan countryside and get to Monticchiello. Roads are scenic and well-marked, and parking is available at the venue. Driving Directions: From Rome – take the A1 highway north toward Florence, exit at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme, and follow signs toward Pienza / Monticchiello. From Florence – take the A1 highway south toward Rome, exit at Val di Chiana, and follow signs toward Pienza / Monticchiello. The drive through the Val d’Orcia is stunning — rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, and endless vineyards.
House Or Rental

We recommend staying near the following hotels, where shuttle transportation is starting to be arranged: Hotel San Biagio Nuova Etruria Resort Palazzo Falcinelli Most guests will be staying at Hotel San Biagio, though any accommodations in this area are convenient. Shuttle pickup will also be available from Montepulciano, Monticchiello, and Pienza.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided for both the Welcome Party (Saturday) and Wedding Day (Sunday) from Montepulciano, Monticchiello, and Pienza. When you RSVP, please include where you’ll be staying so we can coordinate your shuttle transportation. Shuttle schedules and pickup locations will be shared closer to the wedding. Guests with cars will have on-site parking available.
