Wrightsville beach is where we got engaged! We had dinner at La Duna Paradiso, which is located inside Trailborn Surf & Sound resort, and then we went for a walk on the beach, and he proposed! Wrightsville Beach is beautiful, and this time of year is such a perfect time to visit!
Topsail Beach
Topsail beach is another one of our favorite places to visit! It's dog-friendly year-round!
Wilmington Downtown Riverwalk
The riverwalk in downtown Wilmington is such a scenic and enjoyable walk along the Cape Fear River! There are many shops, restaurants, bars, and lots of entertainment.
The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center
The sea turtle rescue is such a cool place to visit! If you have time to visit, we highly recommend. Check out their website for more info.
Battleship North Carolina
The battleship is an awesome attraction to experience if you have never done it. They offer self-guided tours or with a professional tour guide. Tours usually last around 2 hours. They are open every day!
Ghost Walk of Old Wilmington
Wilmington is a historic place with many stories! The ghost walk is a 90-minute tour through the old parts of Wilmington with haunted stories of homes and burial grounds. If you are planning on staying until Sunday, Saturday night would be the perfect night for this if you're interested! You have to reserve and book tickets online.
