Where is the registry?/How do I contribute to the wedding?

We will be forgoing the traditional registry. There will be a wishing well box at the wedding reception where you can drop off your Hong Bao/Lai See (red envelope) if you want to contribute to our wedding. When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by Dec 31st, 2025, so we can have an accurate headcount :) Please be as specific as you can with your dietary requirements so we know how best to accommodate you.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Malaysia is a hot and humid country throughout the year. The tropical weather is a little unpredictable. Expect high humidity of 80% or more with heavy, brief showers or downpours, which, often bring some cooling effects during a hot afternoon. Please bring ample amount of sunscreen, shades, hats, umbrella and loose clothing. Keep those jackets and boots in your closet. Sandals, skirts, dresses, and shorts all the way!

How do I get around in Penang and also to the venue?
Answer
The easiest way to get around in Penang is with Grab, a reliable ride-hailing app. Grab is convenient to use and drivers are easy to find. We highly recommend using Grab over taxis or public transportation. To use: 1. Download the app 2. Register an account, preferably before departure 3. Once you arrive in Penang, enter your destination and book a ride 4. Fares will be shown upfront on the app, and you can pay by cash or card. Please note that internet will be required to make a booking. At the airport, you can either use the free WiFi available or purchase a SIM card.

If you are driving, the wedding venue offers complimentary parking for both in-house guests and those attending the wedding who are staying at other locations.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors at resort garden by the beach, but our reception will be in an air-conditioned tent.

What if I have a dietary restriction?
Answer
Everything will be pork-free (halal). Please let us know if you have any specific dietary restrictions when you RSVP and we will make the necessary arrangements.
