We shared our very first date at the Laufey concert in Lafayette, King’s Cross, London. The venue, brimming with excitement for the sold-out show of the soon-to-be star, had the capacity of just 600 people. Surrounded by music and laughter, we found a special connection that set the tone for our journey ahead.

Corey was invited to visit Emilie's flat for the first time to meet and gain approval from her friends and flatmates. After spending time together, Corey seized a quiet moment to ask Emilie to be his girlfriend, marking the official beginning of our relationship.

On this date, we took our next big step and moved in together, settling into a charming two-bedroom flat in Pimlico, London. This marked the start of building our home and shared life.

After secretly purchasing a ring in Macau and having it brought to London by his parents, Corey planned the perfect surprise. That morning began with a heartfelt breakfast and a proposal. The proposal was followed by a video of well wishes from friends and family, a luxurious five-course meal prepared by a private chef, engagement photos, and capped off with dinner at the same Mexican restaurant where we’d had one of our earliest, most memorable dates.

After months of thoughtful discussion and preparation, we arrived in Melbourne, Australia—excited to make this vibrant and diverse city our new home and embark on new adventures together.
