Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

As much as we adore all the kids, unfortunately our wedding along with all the other events that take place during our wedding week are strictly over 18. We want you to let your hair down and enjoy each celebration with us.

What currency is used in South Africa

Answer

The SOUTH AFRICAN RAND is the official currency used in South Africa. The current exchange rate is 24/1. You can check the rate via currency converter on Google.

When do I need to arrive in Cape Town?

Answer

All flights to Cape Town are overnight. We advise everyone to arrive the day before or the morning of the first event you have rsvp to attend which will be on your itinerary. If you have further questions or need some help on this please contact our planner via email on coralleeandtoks@gmail.com

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

We understand that some guests may have some food intolerances. Our wedding planner Elvina will be checking in with each guest regarding this and we will take every precaution to ensure that you are taken care of.

Do I need a visa to travel to South Africa?

Answer

If you currently hold a British passport - A visa is not required. If you hold any other international passport please visit gov.co.uk/southafrica for advice. If you require a physical invitation or a supporting document for a visa application, please reach out to our Elvina our planner for assistance at coralleeandtoks@gmail.com

How do I contact you once I land in Cape Town

Answer

We advise everyone to buy an international sim card and data plan from the airport unless South Africa is one of your free roaming countries. There is WIFI everywhere in South Africa but once you leave certain places the wifi wont work. If you do decide to get a sim card from the airport, please make sure you keep your current WhatsApp but please note, the direct calling number will be the phone number on your new sim. We will all remain on our usual phone numbers via WhatsApp. Our planner will share her phone number with every guest ahead of the wedding should you need anything.

Can I swap a named guest?

Answer

Unfortunately no, every guest selected to be invited to our wedding are very dear to our hearts. If a named guest cannot attend for any reason please RSVP accordingly.

Will I have to pay for any events?

Answer

There are a few paid events throughout the wedding week. On the itinerary, there is note with pricing information for these items. As we are such a large group, all events require pre-payment for ease.

Where in Cape Town Should I stay?

Answer

We advise guests to stay in these areas: Century City, Camps Bay, Bantry Bay, City Bowl and V&A Waterfront, each offering unique attractions and experiences. 1. Camps Bay Camps Bay is renowned for its stunning beaches and breathtaking views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range. It is an upscale area with a vibrant atmosphere, featuring numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes along Victoria Road. 2. V&A Waterfront The V&A Waterfront is a bustling hub of activity, offering a mix of luxury hotels, shops, and restaurants. It is home to major attractions like the Two Oceans Aquarium and the Robben Island Museum. 3. Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We're having an "unplugged ceremony" - Please keep phones and cameras away until the reception so everyone can be fully present. Our photographers will capture every special moment.

Are there any free days during the wedding week?

Answer

Wednesday 4th and Friday 7th November are a free days for all guests to do whatever they want. We suggest booking any excursions in advance to avoid disappointment.
