Fort Williams Park
This is where our ceremony will be held. There are many scenic areas and beautiful walkways if you wanted to venture on your own
Fort Preble
This is across the port from where our reception is and has a wonderful walk along the water, as well as a lighthouse out on a break water that you can walk to if you are feeling like walking the rocks. There is also a beach that is dog friendly year round.
Allagash Brewing Company
Brewery that is outside of downtown, but there are about 5 others in the same area. Covid has made visiting challenging, but I am hoping by August we will be able to go, hangout and have a beer!
Shipyard Brewing Company
New England Brewery that is in the downtown area.
Duckfat
This is a favorite restaurant in Portland, known for their fries. Be prepared for lines.
Novare Res Bier Cafe
A nice beir garden in Old Port that has a great patio.
Gilberts Chowder House
A great place for a cup of chowder or any other seafood fare
The Porthole Restaurant & Pub
Great large patio that is on the wharf. They had a great breakfast.
Rising Tide Brewing Company
Great brewery with outdoor seating.
Captain Sam's Ice Cream
Ice cream, fudge, and other chocolate treats.
Wharf Street
This is across the street from the Hyatt Place. This is a closed off cobblestone street with many places to find libations and snacks of all types.
