Christian and Lauren first met at Twality Middle School in their 7th grade drama class. Their chemistry was undeniable, so the teacher paired them up for a romantic scene as Anne Frank and her love interest. A risqué kiss on the cheek was involved in that scene, and Christian didn’t wash his face for a week after. Little did they know the crush was mutual as they parted ways to rival high schools. But as Christian wrote in Lauren’s 8th grade yearbook: “to be continued..” 20 years later they were eagerly reunited by a mutual friend at a children’s birthday party. Once again, their chemistry was undeniable. Although Lauren initially ran away when Christian returned to ask for her number, fate intervened and they eventually reconnected. One week later, on their official first date, even the bartender thought they were married. Now, almost 3 years and a New Year’s Eve Proposal later, here we are!
