Peyton and Cooper's story began way back to junior year of high school when the two found themselves sharing a few classes together. Peyton, on the first day of school, walked up to Cooper to ask to sit next to him in math class. Cooper sarcastically said no, and with Peyton being stubborn, chose to sit next to him anyway. That moment sparked a solid friendship that quickly turned into a close bonded relationship built on their shared love of sports and competitive personalities. Not long after, Cooper asked Peyton to Homecoming in fall of 2018, and on November 18, 2018, the two officially started dating and have been together ever since. From that point on, the pair were inseparable. If they were not in class or having lunch together, they were probably playing one on one, playing video/board games, going on runs, or finding yet another way to turn everyday life into a competition. After graduation high school in 2020, the relationship faced its biggest challenge as the two entered five LONG years of long distance while Cooper competed in cross country and track and field at Washington State University and Peyton played 4 years of college basketball at Linfield University before finishing her final year at Seattle Pacific University. Five years of long distance did not slow Cooper and Peyton down. The two made it work through countless trips to see each other, summers spent together when possible, and more texts, calls, and FaceTime's than either would like to admit. In the summer of 2025, they FINALLY closed the distance for good moving to Spokane, WA, and officially living under the same roof. Just a few shorts months later, on January 10, 2026, Cooper popped the question and Peyton said yes without hesitation. They cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you and are so excited for everything still to come!
