We’re so excited to celebrate with you all! Since Big Sur is a popular destination in the summer, we highly recommend booking accommodations early.
Getting to Big Sur, driving North on Highway 1 is planned by Caltrans to reopen in March 2026, but we recommend staying in Carmel or Monterey to ensure easy access to Big Sur.
While our reception will be held at Fernwood Resort in Big Sur, accommodations there are reserved for part of the wedding party. For guests, there are plenty of wonderful options nearby:
• Big Sur proper: Cozy cabins, lodges, and glamping tents close to the venue.
• Carmel & Monterey: A wide range of hotels and rentals, about 30–45 minutes north.
