What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the Duke Chapel by 2:30 PM. Shuttles will pick up from our listed hotel blocks at 2:15 PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our dress code is formal attire. This can include a suit with a tie or tuxedo, or a formal full or tea-length dress. The cocktail hour will be held outdoors, so please dress for fall weather in North Carolina.

Is there a welcome event?

Answer

Yes! We invite you to kick off the weekend with us at a welcome reception on Friday, November 6th at the Rickhouse from 6-9 PM in downtown Durham. Dinner and drinks will the served. The dress code is dressy casual attire.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue limits, we can only accommodate the named guests on your invitation. If you have been given a plus one, their name will be listed when you RSVP through our wedding website.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your children, this will be an adults only event. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking at both the ceremony and the reception. However, we encourage everyone to take the provided transportation. Please let us know if you will be taking the shuttles from our hotel blocks in your RSVP.
