The Wedding Website of Sofía Alejandra López and Christian Devere Cook
There are many nonstop flights that come into Mexico City International Airport; officially Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez daily! We recommend staying for at least 3 nights to allow yourself some time to enjoy the city! Below are a few of our recommended hotels and tips on finding the perfect vacation rental. We've chosen properties close to our wedding venue so it won't take you longer than 20 min to get to our events! Feel free to reach out to Sofia or Christian if you do not see anything that fits your needs so we can offer other accommodation options. If you want to search for yourself, we recommend looking for properties in the following neighborhoods: La Condesa, Roma Norte, and Polanco. Note: La Condesa is where most wedding guests will be staying. It's a trendy neighborhood with tree-lined streets and cute coffee shops, bars, and restaurants galore! What more could you possibly need?!

Travel Note

Airport Transportation

Due to recent regulations, Uber is not available for airport transportation. Upon exiting the airport, there are official taxi booths/kiosks where you can request a ride to your hotel/airbnb. Do not accept rides from cab drivers who approach you.

Travel Note

Transportation Within City

Uber will be your best friend on this trip. Use it for everything (besides getting to/from the airport) museum visiting, bar hopping, and to get to our wedding events. It is very affordable for US visitors in Mexico. Most rides within the city center will set you back around $10 (rides will rarely exceed this amount anywhere in the city center!). Anything you need transportation for, just use Uber. It is the safest and easiest option!

House Or Rental

Vacation Rental

An Airbnb or vacation rental is a GREAT option whether you are traveling solo or with a group. There are many beautiful apartments or houses with park or city views in La Condesa neighborhood. We recommend searching around Parque Mexico or Parque España since that is where we will be staying. That way, we'll all be in one central area and it will be easy to meet up! If you are looking at staying in other neighborhoods, Roma Norte and Polanco are also good choices. We've linked some of our recommended options on Airbnb at the bottom of the page depending on how many people you are traveling with!
