Matron of Honor
Alli and Sarah have known each other since college, when they met at a party and realized they lived just a few houses apart. From the moment they met, they became inseparable, and eventually went on to become roommates and forever dance partners. From accidentally matching everywhere they went and never being ones to turn down a dance in college, to career changes and marriages in adulthood, they have been there to witness each other grow into the women they are today.
Bridesmaid
Brooke and Sarah have known each other since the first day of first grade. Sarah was alone on the black top before school crying, and Brooke went up and told her not to cry and asked if she wanted to be her friend. Over the last 25 years, they have been through every milestone together, and continue to be there for every major life event, despite the miles between them.
Bridesmaid
Sophomore year of college, Sarah and Alicia were random roommates off campus. They didn’t know then that they would form a lifelong friendship that would long outlast college. Alicia introduced Sarah to Jack Daniels (as well as her brother, Michael, which didn’t go as well), and is credited to Sarah’s love of whiskey and bourbon to this day.
Bridesmaid
"That one time, at Spanish camp...." is the preceding sentence to how Ava and Sarah met. Bonding over being thrown into an immersive Spanish camp, there was in instant connection, and after just a few short weeks a lifetime friendship was formed. They have maintained a long-distance friendship over the last 15 years, traveling between the East Coast and Midwest as often as they can, as well as FaceTiming whenever Ava's adorable 3 year old wants to FaceTime Aunt Sarah.
Bridesmaid
Linds and Sarah met when they worked together towards the end of 2019. Although they didn't work together for too long before the pandemic shut the world down, it only took a few days in the office to realize they would be great friends outside work as well. Trips to the mall, hikes, and everything in between strengthened their friendship, and Linds can even be credited with ensuring Zachary and Sarah's second date!
Bridesmaid
Upon arrival to Colorado, Sarah lived in a townhouse out in Lakewood where she met Emily. They lived just a few houses apart and if they weren’t in their own house, everyone knew they were at each other’s place. Although at first glance, they could not be more opposite, with Em an avid hunter and Sarah getting squeamish around blood, they bonded over their love of World War II trivia and the musical Chicago.
Best Man
Travis and Zac met in kindergarten and have been friends ever since. Travis lived in Wilmington for a few years and once he came back all it took was Zac's mom to confirm that they would be lifelong friends.
Groomsman
When talking about a friend, you talk about Jacob. For as long as Zac can remember, Jacob has been in his life. No matter what he is there for you whenever you need him.
Groomsman
Joe and Zac met in 7th grade when Joe showed up terrified of public school. Zach considers Joe's family his own and even more so now that he has become his brother-in-law.
Groomsman
There are too many good things to say about Devin to list here. Devin and Zac met in 6th grade and have been the best of friends ever since. The list of our adventures go on and on and may or may not need to be mentioned here, maybe ask him about a few at the wedding.
Groomsman
Michael came along when Sarah was 3, and though they had a rocky start to their relationship, once adulthood came, they became close friends. As children, Sarah subjected Michael to summer school (where she was the teacher), musicals (where she was the director), and playing with dolls (which he hated), and so she really credits herself to the well-rounded man he is today. Zachary and Michael really bonded over work trips Michael took out to Denver where they would go out without Sarah (because of a sprained ankle or being out of town). She feels a little left out sometimes, but is mostly happy that they get along so well.
Groomsman
From their 6 year old soccer team to AAU basketball, living at each others houses through high school and ending up at college together Mox has been there since day one.
Groomsman
David and Zac met back in t-ball playing for Loman Garrett. Some of the best years of Zac's life were spent with David playing AAU baseball for Triad Storm even though he's at least 6 years older than Zac. Some of the best conversations and advice Zac's gotten have come from Dave.
