Flower Girl
Luna is not only my niece, but also my favorite little bestie! Life with her has been quite the adventure. It is amazing to see the world through her eyes. Luna is the most caring, loving and adventurous girlie. I am so proud to be her aunt and happy she can celebrate with us today!
Ring Bearer
Carter is my nephew. He was the first to make me an uncle. I cannot say enough great things about Carter. He is curious, smart, kind, gentle and fun-loving. Some of our best memories have been at Deer Camp these past few years and watching you learn to hunt. Thanks Buddy for being you and being in our wedding!
Flower Girl
Hayden is Patrick’s niece and our favorite spunky little girl! She often dances to the beat of her own drum which is the reason we all love her so much. She is strong, fierce, loving and kind. I cannot wait to officially call Hayden my niece! We are ecstatic you can help us celebrate and dance the night away.
Ring Bearer
Evan is Jacque’s nephew who currently lives in California. He is a fun, happy, and energetic little dude. If you’re in need of dance lessons he may be available to help. I am glad that Evan could make it here to help us dance the night away & celebrate!
Matron of Honor
My sister, Stephanie, has been with me from the very beginning. We spent majority of our childhood sharing a room, bickering and making many memories. In adulthood, we have become much closer and often enjoy relaxing, talking all things Luna & going on vacation. I am very excited to have her standing by my side!
Best Man
Dalton, a.k.a. “Dalt” or “Lean Bean” and I met in our freshman year of high school. We became really close after our sophomore year and the shenanigans haven’t stopped since. Dalt has been there for me through all of my highs/lows (even after my 150+ score, rounds of golf) and a guy that I know I can count on for anything. That’s the difference between him and us… Even if he doesn’t have a clue what he can provide for help in a project that I ask for his assistance with, he’ll be there early with a Diet Coke and his dad’s old tool belt. We’ve been playing video games together since we first met and we’ll hopefully be gaming together until both of us have a walker. I couldn’t ask for a better best man to be by my side at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Kortney and I met during our days working in the ICU at Mercyhealth. What a time that was! We went through A1 dialysis, 16 hour days, navigating night & day shift, and COVID nursing together. Kortney has always been a great friend both at work and in our everyday life! I cannot thank her enough for pushing me to always try new things… including going on a date with Patrick. Thank you Kortney for being a great friend and standing by my side!
Best Man
David, a.k.a. “(Dave)y Jones” or “Big Red” and I have been best friends since 7th grade. Whether it was making ping (beer) pong tables for class projects, poker nights in our parent’s basements, or annual Memorial Day camping trips, we were always hanging out. We’ve always had each other’s back, even after gym class, toe injury incidences… Dave left for the Navy after high school, and we didn’t let only a few thousand miles ruin our friendship. Unfortunately for him, the guy has been stuck with me for quite a while and will be for the foreseeable future. Thanks for accepting the role of co-best man, I am grateful to have you by my side on my wedding day!
Bridesmaid
Many years ago I met Kailey through her now-husband, Derrick. We would often plan game nights that led to much chaos and laughter. Since then, I have stood by her side during her wedding, became an “auntie” to her daughter Ona, and enjoyed our frequent margarita dates. I am so grateful she is able to be here for my big day.
Groomsman
Allen, a.k.a. “Al” or “Reegs” and I both went to the same high school, but didn’t really become close until video games brought us together as friends. We did A LOT of gaming during the pandemic and I carried him to A LOT of wins (chicken dinners) during that time. I can always rely on Al to give me blunt, but realistic advice when I’m in a pickle. He’s one of those guys that you can expect to bring you back down to earth or raise you up above himself when you need it the most. He’s now and forever etched himself as a life “golf and gaming” partner of mine, and I’m so glad to have him as one of my groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
I met Sarah in high school during Guys & Dolls Show Choir. We quickly became best friends & spent all our time together. We often enjoyed going to the movies, relaxing in the hot tub or finding things to do. Some of the best weekends in college were spent traveling to UW-LAX to see Sarah. I am so excited that she is able to be by my side during this next phase of life.
Groomsman
Emilio, a.k.a. “Lio” or “Emily” and I first became friends when I was going to school to be a firefighter. Unlike our careers in firefighting, our friendship is still as strong as ever! We became roommates soon after we signed up for more classes together. Living with Emilio was a blast and I wouldn’t change it for anything. We went to our local brewmaster quite often (East Point Sports Pub), enjoyed local cuisine (Toppers and McDonald’s), and even established our own gym (a squat rack in our garage). I can thank him for being one of the main reasons why I owned 3 different motorcycles and enjoyed every second of riding them. I’m lucky to call him the godfather of my first son (Morty) and one of my groomsmen!
Bridesmaid
Amber is Patrick’s older sister and my close friend. She is often times known for being kind, helpful and smiley. You can always count on Amber to keep her promises & stay in close contact. I am appreciative to have Amber be in our wedding as one of my closest friends.
Groomsman
Sean, a.k.a. “Tren” or “Beggs” and I have been friends since middle school. Sean was an absolute monster in the weight room and taught me a ton about working out. He always stressed that doing arms six days a week and skipping leg day was essential. Sean also engrained in my head that cardio is optional and creatine is king! If Sean and I weren’t parachuting pre-workout, going to the mall without our parents permission for NO Xplode (pre-workout), or bench pressing for the third day in a row, we were gaming. Sean loves to introduce me to new video games, especially free ones! Sean is always a good time to be around and I’m so glad to have him up there with me!
Mother of the Bride
My mom has always been my biggest supporter and best fan! I could always count on her to be hiding around the next corner during a cross country meet, making sure I ate lunch after a long day at work, and willing to listen. She is so nurturing and caring while also having a fun and occasional wild side. Thank you for guiding me through life and during this journey! Love you! Someone get this woman a margarita…. I promise it will not disappoint!
Mother of the Groom
My mother is genuinely the nicest woman that I have ever known (obviously besides Jac). She’s always given the moon and sun to us Engen kid’s in order to make us happy. Growing up, and even still, she would go out of her way to make sure I’d have the special snacks, toy, or video game that I could possibly want. My mother would do this, even if that meant she would go without things that she enjoyed doing because she didn’t have the time or money for it. I’m thankful for all of the sacrifices that she’s made for me in life. Jac and I love her a lot and we are so excited for her to be apart of our wedding!
Father of the Bride
Dad has taught me many things growing up including how to ride my bike, use power tools, build fires, fish, hunt, fix things, and use sarcasm precisely. He is a great listener and advice teller as he always has an answer for everything. I thoroughly enjoy spending my lunch breaks watching YouTube together and learning new things. Thank you dad for always being there for me! I am proud to call you my dad and have you walk me down the aisle. Love you!
Father of the Groom
My father has always been there for me through thick and thin (even when I accidentally crashed a truck into my grandmother’s garage). He’s always ready to give advice whether it’s asked for or unwarranted, either way, it’s still usually useful. I know that he will be my forever hunting and fishing buddy (besides Jac). I know that he’s sacrificed a lot of time, money, and effort to get me to be the man that I am today and I am very grateful for that. Jac and I love him very much and are very excited to have him apart of the wedding!
Officiant
William, a.k.a. “Billy” or “Billiam” and I have been arguing with each other since the day I learned to talk. Even when we don’t agree on things though, Billy has been in my corner every step of the way. If I need assurance on a decision I have to make, he’s always going to be there telling me to go with my gut and that he believes it’s the right move (even if it’s very obviously not). Billy always reminds me of the good that comes in my mistakes, and I need that from my brother. Jac and I are extremely glad to have him marrying us!
Usher
Don, a.k.a. “Big Don” or “Dan Mazzers” and I have been gaming buddies for the longest time now. He puts our team on his back and carries me to most of the wins we get on any game we play. I can always rely on him to give me unwarranted fantasy football advice or valuable settings for my PC to get us ready to play (so he can carry me to a victory). Don is a standout friend and that’s why I’m so grateful to have him there as an usher for us on our wedding day!
