Babe's (after party?)
We’re thinking of this place as a little after party suggestion, as it’s just across the street from the reception and the hotel! They have outdoor seating, fire pits and outdoor games, and a pretty big indoor bar if anyone’s looking for a little nightcap👍🏼
Castlewood Cafe
If a bunch of you stick around Sunday and don’t want the hotel breakfast, Christina and Andrew would love to be hungover zombies with you and get a bite to eat here! It’s spacious and can accompany a larger crowd. We’ll see closer to the date who’s around and can call for reservations accordingly.
Marr-Logg House
Marr-Logg is a local classic mom and pop shop diner that has delicious breakfast options and awesome prices. Their Giambotti is massive and Andrew could hardly finish half! This is near Christina’s parent’s house and a tasty suggestion for Sunday morning!
Utica Coffee Roasting Company
This coffee shop is a secret gem and a Utica staple! They have a bunch of flavors and you can order online for a quick pick up if you’re looking to just hit the road in the morning (or if you need a mid-day pick-me-up). They also sell their coffee beans to go, as well as bakery items.
Bella Regina
If you’re in Utica early or staying longer and want to get a delicious bite to eat, this is the place to go. Bella Regina wins the riggiefest every year! If you haven’t tried ‘chicken riggies’ (a Utica staple) you have GOT to!
Rosario's Pizzeria East Utica
This is Christina’s faaaavorite pizzeria! She goes and gets a slice (or two!) every time she visits Utica! It’s also very close to Christina’s parent’s house.
Venice Pizzeria
Andrew will dispute Christina’s favorite pizza with Venice, which is also very good, and a bit on the thinner crispier side (whereas Rosario’s is a bit thicker). They also have very delicious Italian food.
Taco Bell
Andrew and Christina have a slight obsession with Taco Bell; Andrew shows his love for Christina by always checking to make sure her cheesy gordita crunches always have black beans instead of meat (as they unfortunately often mess up orders). One time Christina received her gordita crunch with the holder melted into the taco 🙄😂 (see above photo). If at any time throughout the wedding/reception/after party you see the bride or groom walking across the street to Taco Bell… no you didn’t 😅
Kookie's Q & Creamery
This ice cream place also has food and is within walking distance from the hotel!
