We met out at a bar! Christina was out during grad school and went to Graney’s Stout on Broadway in downtown Albany. It was packed inside and Christina found a picnic table to sit on to get a good view of the mayhem. She was looking all about until she looked right in front of her, where a boy was getting pushed into the picnic table and practically onto Christina. Funny thing was he was oblivious to that, along with everything else around him except the TVs, where basketball was on and he was adamantly watching, standing on tippy toes to see above people’s heads. Christina said after a little while… “so you, uh, like basketball?” breaking Andrew out of his hypnosis. They struck up a conversation, stuck together the rest of the night, and when Christina had to leave, Andrew asked for her number. The rest is history!
