Question

What is the attire for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

The attire for the wedding is semiformal: tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The wedding color scheme is lavender and grey. However, guests are welcome to wear whatever color they'd like.

Question

Do I have to have a wedding invitation to attend the wedding ceremony?

Answer

No. The wedding is open to all guests. However, we do ask that you RSVP so we can keep track of who is coming so that invitations and thank you's can be distributed accordingly.

Question

Do I have to have a separate invitation to attend the private reception?

Answer

Yes. There is a private wedding reception that is invite-only. We wanted this portion of our wedding festivities to be smaller and more intimate. Therefore, you must have a received a separate invitation, and your name must be on the list to attend. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are children allowed to attend the wedding?

Answer

We are asking that all attendees during the wedding festivities be over the age of 12.

Question

How can I give?

Answer

You are welcome to give to the bride and groom via cash, gift cards, and through our online registry (Zola & Amazon). We love a good card with money in it too. :)

Question

Communion at a Wedding?

Answer

Yes. The wedding is taking place in a methodist church. It is the custom of the methodist church to open communion to all. Therefore, the bride and groom will be offering communion for all individuals who wish to take it during the ceremony. ***This is optional and not required.***
