The Dude
Alex was born and raised in the south suburbs of Denver. Growing up, he loved jazz music, being outside, videogames, and Lord of the Rings. Alex did theater in high school so in college he thought he'd make a career out of it. After working at Colorado Shakespeare Festival and Opera Colorado, he started working with youth in Colorado Shakespeare Festival's "Shakespeare in the Schools" violence prevention program. He is still a big nerd, but now he wants to serve the Church and the world by completing studies at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Seminary in the hope of being ordained to the priesthood. As he completes his time there, he is also working as the program director of the CrossRoad Summer Institute, a faith-based program for high school students. He's so excited to see you soon!
The Chick
Constance grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, in Fremont, CA. She is the oldest of three girls and is the nerdy bookworm of the family. As a kid, Constance loved playing soccer, rooting for her beloved Oakland Athletics, going to church camp, and spending summers in Greece with her grandparents. She eventually became more involved in the Orthodox community, teaching Greek dance, and serving at summer camps. Constance studied business and pursued careers in finance and real estate, which eventually led her to Tennessee in 2013. A San Francisco young adult retreat introduced her to Hellenic College in 2016. Almost 6 years later, she is excited to finally attend Hellenic in the Spring to complete her studies in education, aspiring to teach high-school math and economics.
Bride and Groom
We actually did meet indirectly because of an Instagram dating show called @DatingGreek. Alex's awesome koumbara Alyssa Aspiotis saw a mutual friend of Constance's on the show, texted Constance immediately, and suggested Alex and Constance start talking. We did! We met in person at the end of March 2021. After five months of long distance, we decided to make "forever" official. This means some of you haven't met us yet! But we can't wait to meet you all and celebrate with you in person!
