What Happens If I Don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in the timeframe they have given us and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. We hope that you understand.

How do i get to the Venue? “The Woods on Crooked Finger”

Answer

Venue- The Woods on Crooked Finger. From EUGENE/SALEM Follow GPS to Scotts Mills Or. It will likely take you through Silverton and onto Hwy 213 North DO NOT TURN ON Abiqua Rd. Stay on Hwy 213 and turn onto Mt Angel-Scotts Mills Rd and follow to Scotts Mills. Go through town toward the bridge, turning Right up Crooked Finger Rd, approx 4.6 miles. (Do Not go up Grandview). Watch mailbox numbers as GPS may take you too far. Were on the Right. Travel time: "45-60 min” FROM PORTLAND Follow GPS to Scotts Mills. It may take you through Woodburn or Canby / Aurora or Oregon City, depending upon your origin. Once in Scotts Mills, head up Crooked Finger Rd approx 4.6 miles. Watch the mailbox numbers as GPS may take you too far. Were on the Right. Travel time: 1 hour

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes there is a large parking lot at the venue. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING YOU WILL BE CHARGED $150

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be 100% outdoors in a separate ceremony space on site. Afterward, we will have a cocktail hour leading into the reception that will take place both indoors with table seating outdoors. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Dress Code: Semi-formal to Dressy Casual We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration with us so we've included some suggestions for what to wear below.* Note that the Grooms will be dressed in”Semi Formal” For those wanting to dress up (Semi-Formal): ~Cocktail-length dress, a formal skirt with a nice top, or a dressy jumpsuit. ~Suit and tie. For those dressing down (Dressy Casual): ~A sundress or lightweight separates. ~A light dress shirt with slacks or khakis. Jackets and ties are optional. A note on footwear: Please be aware that the reception includes both indoor and outdoor areas with table seating. We recommend wearing flats or wedges, as stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not advised.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Answer

In August the area has a warm and dry climate with average high temperatures around 81-83°F and average lows in the mid-50s°F. August is one of the driest months of the year in the Willamette Valley, with very little rainfall so we expect sunny days and plenty of sunshine.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes we will have an open bar for Beer, Wine, Cider and Seltzer. Please be smart, and remember no vehicles are allowed to stay overnight at the venue. We will have ZERO TOLERANCE for people who become belligerent, have fun but if you can’t control your alcohol don’t drink. No Hard Liquor is allowed on the property the Venue/ Our Insurance and OLCC are very strict on this.

Wedding Gifts/ Registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we will have a card box / gift area at our reception. If you wish to donate to our Honeymoon Fund/ Wedding Fund. We will have our card box as well as cash app and Venmo below CashApp - kevinchris21 Venmo- jdsorad

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Ceremony to start at 3pm hoping to have everyone in the ceremony area getting seated by 2:45pm We would suggest an arrival time between 2pm-2:30pm

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

Our reception will end around 10 pm, Last call 9:30pm

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a “cocktail hour “ between the ceremony and the official start of the reception as the couple and wedding party take photos.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer and prefer she get capture the best images she can of our special day and prefer the images not be with your cellphone out trying to grab a shot. After the ceremony at the reception and while dancing Hell yeah lets take some pics and make sure you send them to us too!
