It all began in Summer 2016 when Kevin and Jacob matched on Tinder. After about 6 months of talking they finally met in person! During a casual outing first date they quickly discovered how easy it was to laugh, talk, and share the little things—like Christmas shopping for nephews and watching Trolls together (which holds a surprisingly sentimental place in their hearts). The first date lasted for hours ending in their first kiss. ♥️ From that point on, love grew in quiet conversations of what a future together might look like and eventually marriage. Kevin knew early on that no matter what form it took, Jacob was his person. Years later, after Jacob had worn a promise ring for some time, Kevin decided it was time to make it official. Finding the perfect engagement ring was no small feat—Jacob has excellent taste and very specific preferences—but after a long search, Kevin found “the one,” inspired by a design they had tried on together. On October 19, 2024, Kevin pulled off the surprise of a lifetime, proposing to Jacob on a trip to their newly found love Disneyland. Keeping it secret had been quite the struggle,but the joy and love they shared in that magical moment made every ounce of stress worth it. They’re now preparing to say “I do,” surrounded by the people who’ve cheered them on, made them laugh, and believed in their love from the start.
