FAQs

Question

How much does it cost to stay in the castle?

Answer

It costs 400 Euro per person for the 5 days/nights at the property. We have exclusive use of the property, meaning the pool, olive groves, and buildings are all ours for the time we're there!

Question

I have kids, can I bring them?

Answer

While we love you and everyone that comes with you, we are kindly requesting that this is an adult-only event. The spacious grounds, pool, and many places to go and hide can make this beautiful place hard to keep track of pets and children. If this is not an option for you, please reach out to us before sending an RSVP.

Question

How do I pay for staying at the castle?

Answer

You can pay multiple ways! You can pay by electronic transfer, Venmo, or Zelle! If none of these work, let us know so we can make accommodations. Venmo: @Conor-Whalen-2 (for U.S.) Zelle: creedwhalen@gmail.com (for U.S.) e-transfer: mandymaybryant@gmail.com (for Canadians) Wise Wire Transfer: @conorw148 (for Any)

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Pack a bathing suit, clothes to keep you cool during the day, one formal outfit for wedding day, toiletries (sunscreen!), and a charging port that fits EU plugs. The palazzo has towels for your use. You may also want to bring something to keep you warm just in case it gets chilly at night!

Question

What amenities are at the Palazzo?

Answer

There are multiple kitchens, pool, bath towels, linens, cutlery and dishes, and wifi. The grounds have the castle, and three farmhouses, a pool, chapel, garden, and private park with olive groves.

Question

How can I leave the palazzo grounds?

Answer

You can either rent a car in Rome or Chiusi, order a taxi to/from the train depot in Chiusi, or take a taxi to a nearby town. We can also organize for individuals to rent large vans to take larger groups of people.

Question

How do we eat and drink at the castle?

Answer

Sarteano and Chiusi are both very close with fantastic grocery stores. We can organize for groups to go and get food and wine. We can also set-up cooking courses at the castle, and one dinner will be included on the wedding night.

How do I pay for things while in Italy?

Answer

The best way to pay for things in Italy is by credit card, but make sure they don't charge a foreign transaction fee! You are always welcome to withdraw cash from an ATM, but most places, even in small towns, accept card. Keep in mind, for those who have not been to Italy before, the currency is the Euro.
