It's crazy to think that we're getting married all because of a mutual love for strawberry frosted (with sprinkles!) donuts, but here we are. In the spring of 2020, he had sworn that Kane's was by far the superior New England donut shop, and she said she'd never had it. Yet when he promised to bring some over the following morning, she was somehow still completely shocked when she got a text at seven in the morning asking for her address. It was that same spontaneity and reliability that drew us closer to one another in a time when the whole world was utterly chaotic, (thanks COVID-19!) We became pretty inseparable that summer. Despite her best judgement, she found herself on her first Conor and Catrina adventure to Vermont just two weeks after knowing him. Little did we know, that was just the start of our unfolding adventure through life together. Four years, two cars a piece, a dog, a moody little cat, multiple cross country road trips, three jobs, and a home in Alaska later, Conor decided to propose. Naturally, we were on yet another adventure and after hiking 3,000 feet in elevation down into a crater in Haleakala National Park, he got down on one knee. He didn't even need to ask, she had already said "yes!"
