How We Met
We both went to the University of Illinois, and graduated in 2015 from the Engineering School, yet our paths didn't cross until we both moved to Madison in the summer of 2015. Conor was trying to make new friends, and invited his first Madison friend Alyssa and her roommate Ashley over for Taco Thursday. After eating the worst fish tacos we've ever had, Ashley was gracious enough to come back next week for another attempt at edible tacos.
We became closer and closer over the next year, and started dating the next summer. We both decided to leave our first jobs out of college and go on a 30 day road trip across the country in 2018. After Ashley coached Conor through his first ever camping experience, we knew we were a good team, and moved in together the day after we got home. Since then we bought our first house, adopted our perfect dog Romeo, and Conor proposed on our "Hamiversary" in 2022 over some homemade surf and turf. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone!
