What is the bus schedule?

Answer

Bus 1 - for guests staying at The Georges, Sleep Inn, or nearby B&B's and airbnbs 4:35pm - pick up @ The Georges 4:55pm - pick up @ Sleep Inn Bus 2 - for guests staying at the Hampton Inn 4:40pm - pick up @ Hampton Inn Big Spring Farm Departures 9:00pm (will go to all 3 hotels) 10:00pm (will go to all 3 hotels) 11:05pm (bus 1 for The Georges & Sleep Inn, bus 2 for the Hampton Inn)

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and reception will be held outside. Please wear shoes suitable for grass and gravel.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional "Men can wear a tuxedo, but it's not a requirement. If they end up going tuxedo-less, though, they should wear a formal dark suit and tie instead. Women can go the long evening gown route, but a dressy suit or shorter cocktail dress is fine too."

What is the Welcome Party?

Answer

A chance for friends and family to convene and kick off the wedding weekend. It will be informal in nature; no need to dress up but please let us know if you think you may try to make it.

Will there be transportation for guests?

Answer

Yes, we will have transportation picking up and dropping off guests at the Hampton Inn, the Georges, and the Sleep Inn. Specific times to be determined and communicated. If you are staying at or near one of these hotels, please consider taking advantage of the provided transportation. Rockbridge County PD are notoriously strict enforcers and have been spotted waiting outside of our venue of choice.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is parking along with a couple of parking attendants to help direct guests.

What if it's hot?

Answer

Spoiler alert: it likely will be. Please dress appropriately and remember to hydrate. We will be making any necessary accommodations to make the evening comfortable and enjoyable for all. Water (and other imbibes) will flow like ambrosia to the gods! The ceremony will take place in the shade, and dinner and dancing will take place under a tent.

Are the ceremony and reception accesible?

There will be a golf cart to help those guests who may require a little extra help getting around.

Type your last name in the search bar on the RSVP page. If multiple names pop up, choose your own name and complete the RSVP process from there.
