Groom
Charlie is a devoted dad, a steady source of love and laughter, and the heart behind what makes their blended family feel like home. He and Sarah met years ago while working in startup companies, and what began as a friendship naturally grew into the partnership they share today. He loves spending time with his kids—cheering them on (and sometimes coaching)—and creating moments that bring everyone closer. Whether exploring new places with Sarah or enjoying cozy nights of movies, drinks, and games, Charlie is grateful for the life they’re building and excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most.
Sarah
Bride
Sarah is the caring center of our crew and brings warmth and intention into every part of our life together. She and Charlie met years ago through work, and their connection grew over time into a partnership rooted in joy, curiosity, and shared adventure. She loves traveling with Charlie, whether it is a quick trip to Lake Geneva or Michigan or a journey to places like Vancouver, Ireland, or most recently Copenhagen. Moving into their first home last October has been one of her favorite chapters, and she is excited to celebrate their marriage and the beautiful family they are continuing to build.
Annie
Daughter
Annie is a 10th grader at New Trier High School with a love for country music (Megan Moroney on repeat), baking desserts, and a good board game—especially Disney trivia. She plays on the JV basketball team and recently started driving, a milestone she’s very excited about. Annie has a natural way of looking out for her brothers and bringing people together, whether it’s in the kitchen, around a game table, or during family time. She’s most looking forward to great food and spending the day laughing and playing games with friends and family.
Jack
Son
Jack is an 8th grader at Wilmette Junior High School with an adventurous spirit and a genuine curiosity about the world around him. He loves trying new foods, exploring new places, and meeting new people. Jack plays baseball and basketball and is a big Chicago sports fan (Cubs and Bears). He’s rarely far from a LEGO build or a video game—especially when it’s something he can enjoy with his family. Jack is most excited to meet everyone, try all the food, and make new memories throughout the celebration.
Teddy
Son
Teddy is a 4th grader at Harper Elementary School and a proud Wisconsin sports fan (Bucks, Brewers, and Packers), with strong opinions about college teams—Marquette and Indiana at the top of the list. He always seems to have a ball in his hand and plays just about everything: soccer, basketball, football, plus a little lacrosse and golf. Teddy loves friendly competition and has a talent for turning almost anything into a game, keeping everyone around him moving and laughing. He’s especially excited for the celebration because it means more games— with kids and adults alike.
Finn
Son
Finn is a 2nd grader at Harper Elementary School with a big imagination and an even bigger sense of fun. He loves building with LEGOs, playing video games like Mario, Kirby, Wobbly Life, and Astro Bot, and spending time reading and drawing—especially anything by Dav Pilkey, including the Dog Man and Cat Kid comic series. Finn brings a bright, joyful energy to our family and keeps everyone laughing with his creativity and enthusiasm. As the youngest, he’s most excited about the bounce house room, which he has already declared his home base for the entire celebration.
Bisou
Fur Baby
Bisou is our 8-year-old French Bulldog who began her life with Sarah in downtown Chicago and has fully embraced suburban living—especially gaining four new “kiddies.” She has a talent for finding the coziest spot in the house and loves curling up with whoever has the most blankets. One of her favorite parts of her daily routine is her morning banana bread with Charlie. Bisou is especially excited to greet everyone at the celebration and will happily assist with cleanup should any crumbs make their way to the floor.
Indy
Fur Baby
Indy is our sweet new puppy and an unexpected (but very happy) addition to the family. Named Indy Anna Hoosier after the Indiana Hoosiers’ national championship win, she’s already living up to her big name. As the kids’ first puppy, she’s teaching all of us a lot about responsibility and routines. Indy loves following Bisou around and learning about the world, snuggling whenever she gets the chance, and happily chewing on her favorite bones. She’s most excited to meet everyone at the celebration and bring a little extra puppy joy to the day.
