We met Summer of 2018 in the cadaver lab where we were assigned as partners. We were then brought together again Spring of 2019 for another school project, this time thankfully not over a dead body. We started hanging out more going into Summer of 2019, this is when we had our first date in Port Jeff at the burger bar. Connor asked me to be his girlfriend on July 19th of 2019 following an open bar in Port Jeff celebrating the end of another semester. The next day I moved in with him and his family for 10 days while I finished up a job before heading home. I knew then it was meant to be, because who lets someone they just started dating move in the next day lol. We continued to make memories all throughout PT school and helped each other get through all the crazy exams. We had a pause in our story for some time, but then reconnected August of 2023 when I came back to visit LI. We decided that weekend that we didn’t want to go without each other ever again and made plans to make the distance work. We spent the next couple months taking turns visiting the other until we moved in together February of 2024, Lady included🐶. This year has been full of adventure and so many great memories. My favorite however is August 11th. We started our day off at our yearly sunflower festival trip, then my favorite ciderhouse, followed by a beach walk at the place where it all began and that’s where he popped the question. Our story is a little unconventional, but it will forever be my favorite.
