Maid of Honor
Despite the age gap between Shona and Magen, they are as close as ever. These two sisters have been through so much together and have grown a connection that is unbreakable from it all. Shona has been a role-model for Magen growing up, she has been the best advice giver and shoulder to lean on throughout the boy break-ups and "my life is over" moments. They have bonded over all of the things they have each gone through and find comfort in reminiscing about their late father together. The distance that separates them will never overcome the strength these two have, and they will always find the time to be able to visit, even if its just for a couple of days. Every visit is filled with so much laughter and talks as well as lots of little hugs and laughs from her kiddos. Magen couldn't imagine her wedding day without her sister by her side, giving her the best advice and ideas as well as being her loudest cheerleader.
Best Man
Alex and Connor began their high school years together, literally spending their first period freshman year together. This is where they met and immediately bonded over a shared love for classic rock, strengthening further with many more shared interests. One year, Alex and Connor attended a convention for a television show they both love called "Supernatural" about two brothers that hunt ghosts and other assorted monsters. Believe it or not, Alex and Connor were asked a few times there if they were brothers also! Connor was chosen by Alex to be present the night that he proposed to his now wife Emily, and to be a groomsman in their wedding. Now, Connor gets to return the favor to one of the best friends that he could have asked for.
Maid of Honor
Riley and Magen have been attached to the hip since they were toddlers. They have grown up side by side and always considered each other more of sisters than cousins. Even though Magen is only about eight months older than Riley, she liked to pretend she was *so* much older and wiser at times. They attended school together from kindergarten up until the day they graduated from high school, went to homecomings together and spent countless Friday nights at the skating rink with friends thinking they were the coolest teens around. They share and endless amount of inside jokes and never fail to get each others inner child to come out when they are around one another. These two have spent their entire lives being besties and continue to try and see each other as much as they can, even if adult life is so busy now-a-days. They still find time to have shenanigan filled nights with one another whenever they get the chance.
Groomsman
Anthony and Connor were introduced by a mutual friend named Evan, but ended up becoming closer to each other over the years. They first met in a video game called Counter-Strike, as did a few others in this wedding party. Anthony, Chase, Tristan, and Connor, all continue to play games together on a semi-regular basis and maintain a group that dates back about 9 years. Connor was also the first member of the group that Anthony ever met in person, when Connor flew to New York and drove over to New Jersey solely to meet. Anthony is Connor's first pick in any game they play against the other two, and will always share a bond that goes further than video games.
Bridesmaid
These two birthday twins were introduced to one another through Connor. Sophie and Magen quickly bonded over a few drinks, talking about boys from their past and embraced the fact that they both didn't have many girl friends at the time, and declared each other besties the first night they met. Over the last four years, Sophie has been an extremely supportive friend as well as one of Magen's favorite hype girls when she needs it. When these two get together they can talk for hours upon hours about every topic imaginable as well as maybe take a couple falls or two. Even though Sophie was Connors friend first, she still begs Magen to come move into her spare room in Connecticut so they can live together.
Groomsman
Connor first met Benny in their senior year of high school, spending many weekends together having deep conversations such as whether India ruined the Beatles or if one of their friends liked Nirvana. The amount of stories these two share could fill a book, ranging from road trips to Zanzibar to hunting ghosts in cemeteries and knitting shops. Their shared loves of music and senses of humor were key to becoming as close as they are now, and they will share that closeness for a long time to come.
Bridesmaid
Thirteen years ago, Alana and Magen met during their sixth grade year of middle school. They have came all the way from guitar club in junior high to graduating high school to learning how to be adults and starting their own lives and families. They have done their best to stay in contact throughout all the years they have known each other, although chatting has become slim every once in awhile, they have never lost the bond and memories that they share together. From going to the Monster Jam with Magen's father to going to see new scary movies. Alana became a mother last year, and asked Magen to be the Godmother to her son. Of course, Magen felt absolutely overjoyed and has loved watching Alana's son grow and being there for the both of them whenever they need her to be.
Groomsman
Chase and Connor were the first of the gaming group to meet, with a young Mr. Ohlenburger asking Connor for tips on how to improve in their favorite video game. As it stands now, it's fair to say that Connor should be the one asking for tips! They met for the first time in person at a competition for Counter-Strike in Dallas, around 2016, and were the first two of the CS boys to meet in person. While he may always be on the other team when 2v2 comes around, Chase will always be Connor's first teammate.
Bridesmaid
These two co-workers turned best friends and soul sisters hit it off immediately three years ago. They've spent countless hours talking about all the things they each have gone through in their lives, going shopping and maybe spending a *little* too much money at Starbucks. Sophie and Magen have bonded over their love of music, tattoos and concerts along with a bunch of little things in between. They love spending time with one another and are each others go to girl for almost everything. Despite being only having known one another for three years, they have a connection and friendship that seems as though they have known each other their whole lives.
Groomsman
When Tristan was first introduced to Connor, he left out a key piece of information - his age. While the rest of the groomsmen are all within a year of each other, Tristan is our youngest and was three years younger than the rest when they met. It was never a problem, however, and he and Connor became incredibly close over the years they've known each other, even though there may be a good-natured "diss track" one has written about the other...but Connor is planning his response as we speak!
Bridesmaid
Christie has always felt more like a bonus big sister than a cousin. Magen spent most of her summers in middle school and early high school at Christie's house offering her help to take care of her two young children. She spent countless weekends spending the night and going places with them all and growing their relationship to be what it is today. Christie has been there for Magen as a listener and shoulder to lean on throughout all the things she has faced growing up and learning out to navigate life as a young woman. Even though life is busy and Magen has started her life as an adult, she always knows that she can go to Christie if she ever needs anything.
Groomsman
Daniel and Connor first met through Magen, as she and Daniel went to high school together. The three of them started playing video games together in 2022, and the two boys hit it off immediately. Over time, they have developed a bond over a multitude of games and interests, such as Formula 1 racing and soccer with cars. While Daniel may have been Magen's friend first, it's no secret that all three have become equally close and enjoy spending time together as the three of them, or four with Daniel's girlfriend Jess.
