Train

Train Route From Airports

Scotland has a great train system. The venue recommends foreign travelers to take a train to Stonehaven. You may have to take an airport shuttle or other form of transportation from the airport to a central train station, which will have routes to Stonehaven. We recommend using ScotRail to book train tickets as they are the most reliable, we have linked their website below! They allow booking for up to six months in advance!

We had so much fun renting a car in Scotland and it is a wonderful way to explore the country! We promise driving on the left side is much easier than you think and you get used to it almost immediately! A U.S. driver's license is accepted for all rental car companies and there are no additional licenses needed.
