When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 10, 2026.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The venue is open to all guests starting at 3:30 PM. Please arrive to the Matthes Tree farm by 3:50 pm( at the latest) on October 10, 2026. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM. If you are not seated for the ceremony by 3:59 pm, we will ask you to stand aside to proceed with our special celebration.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress in semi-formal attire. Suits and gowns or longer cocktail dresses are acceptable. We ask that no one wear jeans, shorts, or t-shirts. We kindly ask that no one wears white, cream, off-white, light beige, eggshell, or any light color that could be perceived as white. In the event someone boldly chooses to wear white, there will be consequences. You have been warned.

Can I bring a date?

No. Unless we have specifically given you a plus one, please do not bring anyone random to our wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. This is an 21+ event and it is strictly adults only. Please keep all children at home.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy, please contact Connor or Jena. There will also be menus at every table describing what all the food is.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue! Please bring a car, rent a car, or plan to carpool with other guests. Lyft isn't available in the area, Uber is limited.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are planning on an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. Should the weather choose to not cooperate, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

What will the weather be like in Michigan on the wedding day?

Answer

Unclear. While we wish it were something that we could predict, Michigan weather is fickle. It could be warm and sunny or cold and windy. There really is no telling. We recommend everyone bring a jacket, just in case.
