We're getting married!

Connor and Jena both went to South Lakes High School, but never crossed paths. Jena was close to one of Connor's friends and had even dropped him off at Connor's house in her iconic red Fiat. Several years later, Connor and Jena met in Reston, Virginia, and slowly got to know each other. Their first date was at a sushi restaurant, now one of their most beloved spots when they are in town. By the second date, Connor was utterly in love with her. By the third, they were inseparable. By the fifth, he knew he had to marry her. Connor and Jena have had many adventures together over the past four years. They traveled from the glaciers of Alaska to the jungles of Puerto Rico. They also adopted their insane kitten, Cleo, together. Their best adventure was when Connor took Jena to visit her grandmother and "look at houses" in one of her two hometowns, Vero Beach, Florida. He plotted with her friends and sister-in-law (Haley) to surprise her with a proposal on the beach at sunrise. Now, if you know anything about Jena, she hates surprises. Connor had to trick her (with the help of his co-conspirators) into getting her hair and nails done, going to Florida from Virginia, and taking pictures at sunrise, without her knowing or guessing that she was about to be a bride. As they walked to the beach together at 5:15 in the morning on April 26, 2024, Jena had a sneaking suspicion. She patted Connor down to see if he had a ring box; however, to her surprise, one wasn't to be found. When her back was turned, watching the most beautiful sunrise, he got down on one knee and popped the question. She said yes! Which brings us to the next chapter in their lives, starting with their wedding. They can't wait to celebrate with everyone they love.
