Frequently Asked Questions
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress in garden party attire. For women, this includes long or short dresses, bright colors, prints and florals encouraged. For men, please wear khakis or dress pants, button down shirts and a blazer, jacket or suit is encouraged, ties optional. The ceremony is outside, so please plan accordingly for the temperature in November. The ceremony will take place on grass, so stiletto heels or heels with sharp points are not encouraged. Wedges, casual heels or flats are recommended. For men, please refrain from wearing tennis shoes.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Nope! We are planning an adult-only ceremony and reception. Please leave the little ones at home. Only the names stated on the invitations are included in our total guest count.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We would like an unplugged wedding. We have hired a wonderful photography team that will capture our day, and we'd love for everyone to enjoy the moment without a screen. Please keep phones off and away during the ceremony.

Question

Is there a rain plan?

Answer

Yes! We plan to hold our ceremony outside, but things happen. There is an indoor ceremony space available at the same venue, and the reception is indoors. Our wedding will go on, rain or shine. Please plan accordingly if rain or other bad weather is expected.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, there will be alcohol served during the reception. However, no liquor is allowed on the venue property. An open bar of beer, wine, cider, seltzers and a signature drink will be available for guests.

Question

Have food allergies?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride or groom if you have dietary restrictions or allergies so accommodations can be made.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot at the venue that will allow all guests to come via car. Carpooling is always encouraged for the good of the planet. Rideshare services will be few and far between, so do not plan on being able to take an Uber or Lyft home from the reception. Please make any travel plans in advance.
