Things To Do In And Around Watkins Glen

The Wedding Website of Victoria Blanchard and Connor Mason
I know for our out of towners that you’ll probably want some places to go see or things to do. Well here are some things we like doing in and around Watkins Glen. I do recommend you look up things to do too because I can’t list everything there is to do around here. There’s too much to list because we are in the heart of the Finger Lakes.
Watkins Glen State Park

Watkins Glen State Park

971 North Franklin Street, Watkins Glen, NY 14891
, (607) 535-4511

I’m going to start off saying normally the Gorge is open from May to late October depending on weather. If we get another nice November like the one we had in 2020 it might be open a little longer. The Gorge is is a classic place to go in Watkins Glen and is very beautiful.

Smok'n Bones BBQ & Brews

Smok'n Bones BBQ & Brews

3815 Main Street, Burdett, NY 14818
, (607) 546-7999

We went here on our first date as our save the dates said, so I’m putting that on here for anyone that wants to see where our first date was. Also the food is pretty good.

Seneca Lake Wine Trail

Seneca Lake Wine Trail

2 North Franklin Street, Watkins Glen, NY 14891
, (877) 536-2717

Another classic thing to do in Watkins Glen is the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. There are so many wineries around Watkins Glen so if you are a fan of wine I highly recommend this. Also to note there are a lot of breweries around so if you aren't a fan of wine look into the breweries.

Corning Museum of Glass

Corning Museum of Glass

1 Museum Way, Corning, NY 14830
, (607) 937-5371

If you are a fan of glass then Corning Museum of Glass is a good place to go to. There’s a lot of history there and there are even shows you can watch to see the process of blowing glass.

Scuteri's Cannoli Connection

Scuteri's Cannoli Connection

409 East 4th Street, Watkins Glen, NY 14891
, (607) 535-7568

If you want really good pizza or cannolis this is the place to go. They only make pizza on Fridays and Saturdays and you have to call to order but it’s the best pizza in town according to my family and I. For the rest of the week they make great desserts so if you want to try those I recommend them too.

Babcha's Pierogies

Babcha's Pierogies

309 North Franklin Street, Watkins Glen, NY 14891
, (607) 302-2306

A great place to get great Polish food is Babcha’s. You’ll have to check hours they are open, normally it is 4pm-8pm during the week and then on the weekends from 1pm-8pm, she isn’t open Sunday-Tuesday. She hand makes all the pierogies, usually she gets up at 4am to start the process of making everything for the restaurant. Some things she makes you have to call the night before to order because it takes her longer to make.

Watkins Glen International

Watkins Glen International

2790 County Route 16, Watkins Glen, NY 14891
, (607) 535-2486

Watkins Glen International is one of our main attractions during the summer. A lot of NASCAR fans know of this race track. Most likely this will be closed but you can always drive past the track.

For all the days along the way
