We’re getting married!

We met through my little brother Craig. Connor and Craig would play video games together and I would always hear them playing so one day we started texting and that led to gaming together. I would have to wait until Craig got off the console to get on with Connor, some nights that would be around midnight and we would stay on until five in the morning just talking and playing video games. Finally I decided to tell him that I liked him and surprisingly he said that he liked me back. We wanted to wait until we met in person to start dating because Connor is from Louisiana and I’m from New York. Finally in October of 2015 we met each other and decided that we wanted to start dating.

I really wanted Connor to come to New York for Christmas so he came up around December 21st of 2020. We planned on going out on a date on December 23rd, so that’s what we did. We went to dinner at Wild Ginger in Corning, NY and the entire time we were there something seemed to be wrong with Connor. We talked throughout dinner about our relationship and the future. We decided after dinner we would walk down Market Street because it was decorated for Christmas. There were lights everywhere and it was absolutely beautiful, I have always loved Christmas lights. We finally got down to Centerway Square where they really decorated and had a huge Christmas tree. Connor finally got down on one knee and popped the question and my first reaction was and I quote “Are you serious!?”. Finally I said yes, which probably felt like eternity to Connor.
