If you are flying from the United States you have two different options. You can either fly into Rome's international airport (which tends to be cheaper) or you can fly into Naples. Rome: If you fly in from Rome you can take a train to Naples or Sorrento. Once in Naples or Sorrento you can take a public bus which will drive along the coast. Naples: If you fly into Naples you can catch a bus that will bring you up the coast.
Flight: I would recommend booking your flight in January and February 2022. You will find really great deals. If booking far out in advance worries you, purchase travel insurance that way if anything happens your flight will be protected. Hotel: A hotel you can book at anytime. I have found really great deals months prior as well as days prior. Just depends on what you are looking for in a hotel. However, given the post covid-19 life, hotels might book up faster than in previous years. If you want help with any of this text me(Julia)! I am more than happy to help!!
No, the ceremony is taking place at Parrocchia di San Gennaro. Our reception is taking place at Casa Privata. The reception is about a 10 or 15 minute walk. The walk includes about 150 steps. Please bring comfortable shoes for the walk down!!
This is a little bit tricky. You can come via water taxi. If you would like to have this option please message us privately at finallythefitzgards@gmail.com Day of the ceremony, it would probably be easier to just walk from the ceremony to the Villa. There is no parking on site. However if you would like to drive to the ceremony you can park a Flavio Gioia. As of 2019 parking costs €25 for the day.
Unfortunately the wedding is not handicap accessible. You have to walk about 150 steps to get the reception.
Our ceremony will be in a Catholic Church. Due to Catholic rules, you have to have your shoulders covered. A light shawl would be the easiest way to cover your shoulders during the ceremony and then you can toss it to the side during the reception!
Our ceremony will be unplugged.
The average temperature in early August is 93 degrees Fahrenheit.
