We started the night as just friends. But somewhere between The Roots and President Obama, our love began to blossom over an unforgettable night of comedy, music, and political rallying! Each of us makes the other stronger, smarter, and happier. Since that day, we consider every day together a beautiful blessing and we are having such a blast on this adventure together!

He planned a lovely picnic in Prospect Park. The sun was shining brightly, despite the forecast for rain. He played guitar and we both lounged around, singing and laughing all afternoon. It was already a perfect day, but it became unforgettable when he pulled out a beautiful ring and two bottles of our favorite bubbly! It was so much fun getting engaged that, a week later, we went for a hike and did it again. At the top of the mountain, he got down on one knee and proposed again!
