We met for our first date at Ormsby's in Atlanta, where we ended up spending hours playing table shuffleboard and Connect 4 together. After Conner drove Megan back to her place, a frog jumped out of Conner's car and we chased it together trying to catch it.

We took our first trip together to the Royalton in Negril, Jamaica together pretty quickly after meeting. The first two days were a dream where we soaked up the sun, swam in the ocean, had hibachi dinners, drank fun frozen drinks and caught a hermit crab. Until... we got food poisoning and fell deathly ill for the rest of the trip....

We spent our first Christmas together in Pittsburgh, PA with Megan's family. Again, a perfect trip... until we caught COVID...

The first Georgia football game that we went to together was the 2022 National Championship in Indianapolis, where the Dawgs won it all for the first time in 40 years!! Conner managed to the convince Megan to become a Georgia fan, despite her being an alum of longtime rival Georgia Tech, with their "Football Compromise". In this deal, Megan would be a Georgia fan if Conner would be a Steelers fan. Megan got to enjoy cheering for a winning team and barking at opposing fans, while Conner got to learn what the dull blade of going 9-8 and getting blown out in the wildcard every year feels like!

We were already spending all of our time together, so in May of 2022, we moved into our Midtown townhouse together where we still live to this day!

On September 23rd, 2023, Conner got down on one knee at Wolf Mountain Vineyards in Suches, Georgia and asked Megan to marry him. This may come as a shocker, but she said yes! We celebrated privately after with fetch with Teddy and watching the Dawgs win against UAB (another shocker).
