The Sun Valley Lodge offers a complete resort experience, with bars, restaurants, pool, and full service spa and salon. This is where the Bride and Groom will be staying. The Sun Valley Inn is a short stroll from the Lodge, with more modest rooms and a quieter atmosphere. Cottages, condos and townhomes are also available thru the Sun Valley website. When booking any of these accommodations thru the Sun Valley website, airport transportation is complimentary, and requires a reservation. This is a shuttle pick up location

Located at the south end of town in the heart of Ketchum - walking distance to the Welcome Party on Thursday and local bars, restaurants etc! Fantastic lobby lounge and beautiful outdoor pool. Wedding shuttles will depart from and return to the Limelight on our wedding day. The Limelight Hotel offers free airport transportation for their guests. At the north end of town yet still in the heart of Ketchum, Hotel Ketchum offers modern, fun rooms and a pool onsite. All of Ketchum’s bars and restaurants are right outside your door. This hotel is a short walk to the Thursday night welcome party and the shuttle pick up for the Friday wedding. If you want to be close to it all in town- this is a great option!

Condo/Home Rentals

There are many properties to rent - from small condos to large homes - through Airbnb, Vacasa, VRBO, Natural Retreats, and Alpine Lodging. When searching, look for Sun Valley or Ketchum (to be closer to town or Sun Valley Village). Elkhorn or Warm Springs areas while technically part of Sun Valley/Ketchum, are fine options, just a little further from town. Please reach out with any questions!

Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN)

By far the most convenient airport option, SUN is a quick 20 minute ride north into Ketchum/Sun Valley. There are direct flights from LAX, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago and Salt Lake City. Complementary airport shuttle service is available for guests staying at Sun Valley Lodge/Sun Valley Inn. The Limelight hotel also provides complimentary airport shuttle service.

Twin Falls Airport (TWF)

The Twin Falls airport is 75 miles south of Sun Valley, an easy 1.5 hour drive. We recommend renting your own car if choosing this option.

Boise Airport (BOI)

Boise Airport, 2.5 hours west of Sun Valley, is the most affordable option for flights - Check Southwest Airlines for great deals. If you are planning a long weekend, rent a car and enjoy this truly gorgeous drive. Shuttle service from BOI is also available. Ask us for details.

Rental Cars

We recommend renting a car if staying at an Airbnb or VRBO, depending on your location. (Feel free to ask about the lay-of-the-land and logistics). If you anticipate sight-seeing or driving to one of the fantastic trailheads nearby, having your own car is a must.  Renting a car at the Sun Valley airport is quick and efficient. The drive north into Ketchum/Sun Valley takes about 20 minutes. There are very few Ubers or Lyfts at the airport or in the general area, so we don’t recommend relying on those services.
