Travel Note
For those choosing to stay in Wilmington for the weekend, we have included a few hotel options below. All hotels are on the Wilmington Riverwalk which is about a 15 minute drive from the Wilmington airport, in close proximity to the other hotels, and 10-15 minutes walk from the venue. The venue has free parking if you plan to rent a car. Alternatively, Lyft/Uber are available for getting to and from the airport and venue.
Travel Note
The Conklin and Woyner clans will be staying in Carolina Beach prior to and after the wedding. There are a number of AIRBNB and VRBOs on the island plus a Courtyard Marriott for those interested. Travel to the venue is about 25-30 minutes by car. We will happily help with travel arrangements to the venue.

Airport Shuttle: If you are flying into ILM, an airport shuttle is available from Hotel Ballast. Please call the Hotel (910)763-5900 and their van will pick you up outside of Baggage Claim. Their van operates 5:00am to 11:00pm daily. Parking: Hotel Ballast has a parking fee of $15/overnight (self-park) and $20/overnight (Valet).

House Or Rental
Meghan's family will be staying on Carolina Beach Ave S and the Woyner clan will be on Sumter Avenue and 5th Ave. There are bars and restaurants walking distance from these areas. Carolina Beach is not a huge place so it should be easy to get around. We do recommend staying in Carolina Beach vs. Kure Beach or Wrightsville Beach if you want to be walking distance from the rest of the party! We are happy to give you feedback on any places you're looking at!

Flight
ILM has direct flights to and from both New York and Chicago. They do tend to book up so if something catches your eye - go for it! ILM airport is about 40 minutes from Carolina Beach and about 15 minutes from the recommended hotels in Wilmington. Other airports in the vicinity are Myrtle Beach (MYR) and then Raleigh-Durham (RDU). These are one hour and two hours away from Wilmington and Carolina Beach, respectively.
