My brother was a role model to me as a kid. Growing up, I aspired to play games and be social with his friends. Our real bond was through gaming, tabletop and video, along with some music tastes. I met Jourdan from my brother several years ago, and she's been a genuine member of our family and as such, I like to think of her as a sister.

I first met Jourdan and Conar back in 2016 when we were all selected to be Morale Captains for Dance Marathon. It wasn't until we had a retreat that Jourdan and I became homies. She said something hilarious, I cracked up, and a friendship was born. From then on I would go over to their apartment to hang out, play games, nap, dance with a light saber in hand and knock over full glasses of water. Somehow they chose to still be friends with me despite my awful coordination!

My name is Steven Danielsen and I have been friends with Conar since elementary school. When we were young we spent countless hours playing outdoors, competing with each other in video games, and listening to/playing music. We carried this passion through our youth up to today. Conar was always energetic and excited to be a part of the world and I am forever grateful to have shared paths with him. Conar first introduced me to Jourdan in 2015 and I could tell from that moment, there was a strong connection between them. I was fortunate to be able to share nights playing board/card games with her at our weekly fellowship gatherings. She is funny, quirky, and real. Real as in someone who is down to Earth and charismatic - someone fun to spend time being around. Congratulations you two!

I'm Brett, Jourdan's oldest younger brother. Jourdan has been working hard her whole life to get where she is today. It's been a stressful life for her but I am so happy that now she has someone to share the rest of it with. Conar and her are the perfect match and I can't wait to welcome him in as a new member of our family. Love you guys!

Matt and Conar have been going to/working at Camp together since they were 9 & 10 years old. After their camp years, they reconnected in college, where they were even Co-Pizza Bois. Jourdan came into the picture seamlessly even though she was under the impression that Matt wasn't her biggest fan (couldn't be further from the truth) and now they're three of the best friends that anyone could have.

I met Conar at Camp Heart Connection and immediately thought he was the coolest, older camper and wanted to be friends with him. Look at us now, who'd of thought I would have been asked to be in his wedding. Mission accomplished. I met Jourdan at CHC during her first year of volunteering. In my first interaction with her, I assigned her the infamous nickname "Sourdan". So basically I'm the most important person in Sourdan's life after Conar.

I met Conar and Jourdan at Camp Heart Connection back in 2015, although I didn't know that they were together until much later. Since then, Conar and Jourdan have become very close to me through our Discord chats, Wednesday night D&D sessions, and our shared passions for helping others. I am incredibly lucky to have been chosen as the officiant for their wedding and am thankful that I get to share this moment on their special day with them!

I met Conar about 5 years ago volunteering at camp, and I met Jourdan about 4 years ago (that next year) also volunteering at camp. We all attended UNI together and were able to continue our friendships through camp as well as weekly Dungeons and Dragons sessions.

I've know Conar for a long time at Camp Heart Connection, but we started becoming better pals in 2014 when I came back to camp. From being co counselors, to dance partners at UNI DM, to geeking about Blink-182 together, I'm always guaranteed to have a good time when I'm with Conar. I met Jourdan during an 8 hour game of Munchkin where tensions were very high, and I thought she didn't like me. Turns out, she doesn't like 8 hour Munchkin games. She's one of the most passionate and caring individuals I've ever met, and there couldn't be a better person for Conar. I'm so excited to see two of my favorite people come together in marriage, and I couldn't be prouder to be their friend.
