Getting to and from the airport: There are Ubers and Lyfts that may bring you from the airport out to Kiawah. However, the return to the airport likely requires booking an alternate transportation. Here are some suggestions: Coastal Limousine Charleston Black Cab Kiawah Resort Concierge can help coordinate, there is an added cost private cars/SUVs. (This option is $$$) If you are a guest of the resort you will be able to call the on-resort transportation for all weekend events right from your villa or room at the Sanctuary. PLEASE NOTE: If you booked a home via Airbnb or VRBO, on resort transportation may not be an amenity. You will need to check you listings information. We can make sure that you have locations of nearby guests villas who are able to access on resort transportation so you can go from their villas. We will be providing the transport to Holy City Brewing Company. We will be providing a mini coach for up to 38 people. Pick up location is TBD at 4:15pm on Thursday, April 26th. We will return from Holy City Brewing departing around 8:45/9pm back to Kiawah. We will also be providing transport at the end of the wedding reception on Saturday evening. If you have a car, you can leave it at the parking area on Mingo Point, there are plenty of spaces available.
Many have asked what the attire will be for the wedding and throughout the weekend. Here is a breakdown of what to expect: Thursday: Holy City Field Trip - Casual Attire - we will be outdoors, so you may want to bring some layers if it is cooler in the evening. Friday: Welcome Reception @ Osprey Point Clubhouse - Country Club Attire. So think, no ripped jeans and more cocktail reception attire. Saturday: Wedding Ceremony and Reception: This will be Formal Wedding Attire. Since our wedding is small and would like to have group photos, welcome you to join in the wedding color scheme. We are incorporating muted neutrals, blues, blush pink, sage green, and ivory. For the ladies, formal wedding attire includes long dresses. For the dudes, you are welcome to be in the true southern spirit with lighter colored suits and ties (or even bow ties if you fancy it!). Sunday, Farewell Brunch - Casual Country Club Attire - please note that this brunch will be out on a covered patio.
